Biographie

Ouddène Boughoufala is professor of history at Mascara University, Algeria, where he teaches and supervises MA and PhD dissertations and where he directs the research unit of sociology and history (LRSH). He obtained a joint PhD in 2007 from the University of Provence, France, and the University of Algiers. He has published five books on topics including a historiography of the French Revolution in North African research, the economic and social history of the cities of Medea and Miliana in the Ottoman era, and the life of Emir Abdelkader.
