Environmental issues have gained greater prominence in the development agenda in recent decades. Loss of forests and other natural resources, excessive consumption of natural resources, chemical and industrial pollution and water shortages continue to affect communities and hinder development with the most vulnerable communities disproportionately affected by these environmental challenges and risks.
The International Conference on Water and Environment aims to create a common space between scientists and academics to exchange their experiences and results of their research in various fields of water and environment. It also provides a multidisciplinary base for presenting and discussing the latest analysis and interests as well as practical challenges and solutions adopted.
This scientific event will attempt to target and list the problems, namely:
The proposal of reliable and sustainable methods of using alternative water resources adapting to the current environmental context.
A more rigorous approach to integrating sustainable environmental management into the national sustainable development strategy.
The preservation of the environment by adopting a new policy against climate change
