You are welcome to the website of the LES2M laboratory (Laboratory for the study of structures and mechanics of materials). This laboratory, affiliated to the Faculty of Science and Technology - University of Mascara, was created in 2020. The objective of LES2M is to bring together research potential in the field of materials mechanics, civil engineering, building and geo-environment. This laboratory contains 04 research teams in different research themes, namely, vibration control, composite materials, finite element methods, geometric and material nonlinearity, the instability of metallic structures, seismic design, passive and active control of vibrations, contamination and salinization of soils, innovative and sustainable techniques for soils decontamination and desalination, treatment, stabilization and reinforcement of soils, etc. LES2M actively participates in the supervision of doctoral students, the training of master's students and that of engineers. The LES2M laboratory researchers participate actively in scientific research advancement and in international Algerian university visibility and some of them are among the best ranked internationally. The laboratory strives to use its skills through active partnerships and research-development actions for the benefit of the socio-economic sector.
