It is inevitable that technology has become a requirement for development and progress, and the social and economic well-being of the human being, but on the other hand it has had a very severe impact on the environment, which has become vulnerable to pollution of all kinds. This has led countries, including Algeria, to conclude many international agreements and treaties and to enact an arsenal of legislation in order to find ways to protect the environment and take advantage of the positives of technological development in a way that ensures a balance between the two sides of the equation, because the lack of such a balance will eliminate efforts in both areas. This leads us to question the most effective way to protect the environment in a way that does not affect the human right to take advantage of the positives of technological development in order to achieve economic and social well-being and to preserve the right of future generations to sustainable development.
