This scientific event is positioned at the critical intersection of telecommunications and artificial intelligence, aiming to explore a fundamental paradigm shift: the evolution from simply connecting machines to connecting intelligences, where network infrastructure becomes increasingly cognitive and autonomous.
The study day is structured around three core pillars of inquiry:
Optimizing 5G through AI: An examination of how artificial intelligence is currently being leveraged to enhance the performance, security, and application ecosystem of existing 5G networks. The discussion will frame 5G not as a final destination, but as a launchpad for further innovation.
Envisioning AI-Native 6G: A forward-looking exploration of the emerging 6G standard, which promises networks designed from the ground up to be "native to AI." This section will focus on the transition from passive data transmission to networks capable of anticipation, autonomous decision-making, and self-adaptation—becoming intelligent, predictive entities.
Analyzing Deep Synergy: The conceptual core of the event, dedicated to understanding the bidirectional, catalytic relationship between next-generation networks and AI. Researchers will investigate how 5G and 6G serve as enablers for ubiquitous, distributed artificial intelligence, while simultaneously examining how AI functions as the intrinsic "brain" that animates and drives the continuous evolution of these very networks.
